CREEK TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a full-time, on-site Project Manager in support of the AFRL-RX support contract, located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This is a temporary assignment ending June 2025 with customer option to extend. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and perform the following responsibilities:
• The technical project manager will provide contractor support to the Air Force Research Laboratory, Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, Acquisition Systems Support Branch (AFRL/RXSC).
• Utilizes experience in aviation technology and/or flightline knowledge to manage projects that leverage advanced engineering methods and technology to enable new or improved warfighting capabilities. This may include but is not limited to operational energy, alternative energy, energy efficiency, and climate mitigation/adaptation technologies and concepts relevant to Department of the Air Force (DAF) goals and missions.
• Supports planning, coordinating, and executing DAF and Congressional Interest Item funding, including processes and standards for program execution.
• Applies program management principles, practical concepts, and processes when working with Air Force Headquarters, Major Commands (MAJCOMs), government organizations, users, and industry to develop aviation technology requirements that can reduce Air Force operational energy use and/or improve mission capabilities.
• Responsible for compiling customer requirements for internal and external briefings, background papers, talking points, reports, and other strategic communications documents by preparing, scheduling, and coordinating materials, providing knowledge and capability in the use of appropriate software applications to produce visual aids.
• Employs understanding of aeronautical science/engineering and their applications in aviation when coordinating with MAJCOM and System Program Office customer representatives to gain engineering approvals needed to execute programs and technology demonstrations.
• Arranges test assets and range availability with MAJCOMs and USAF test organizations. Supports the AFRL Director of Operations Flight Test & Evaluation process for APTO aviation programs by coordinating with the Lead Development Test Organization to obtain Flight Operations Authority.
• Coordinates the creation, review, dissemination, and presentation of aviation program Cost Benefit Analysis and final reports in order to support technology transition.
• Supports program cost, schedule, and performance management, including reports, documents, and presentations.
• Military flightline (air crew, etc.) experience, commercial aviation technology development, test, certification, operations, maintenance, and/or support preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint and Google Suite products
• Multi-tasker with ability to track and complete several projects at the same time
• Self-motivated, able to take simple direction and expand upon idea/suggestion
• Ability to engage with executive level leadership across functions and organizations
Technical Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years of Program Management experience preferred
Secret
